Serving Jenks from Memorial Drive

Jenks sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River, southwest of our office. The Creek Turnpike carries you across the river to Memorial Drive, and from there it is a straight drive north to 21st Street.

Jenks is in Tulsa County between the Arkansas River and US-75, and it has grown fast: its population climbed from 16,924 in 2010 to 25,949 at the 2020 census. Jenks is home to the Oklahoma Aquarium, and its downtown antique shops earned it the nickname Antique Capital of Oklahoma.

Family care for a growing town

Much of Jenks’ growth has come from young families, and its schools have a strong sports tradition. Active kids pick up sprains and strains, and a growing body deserves a real exam rather than an assumption that it will settle on its own. Parents juggling desk jobs, commutes and carrying little ones often deal with back and neck pain of their own, and expecting mothers may look for gentle prenatal chiropractic care.

A town that stays on the move

Jenks has a proud tradition in high school athletics, and its riverfront and downtown draw walkers, shoppers and visitors on most weekends. Hours on your feet browsing antique shops or cheering from the bleachers can be hard on a back that already aches. If a sore back or stiff neck keeps coming back, it is worth finding out why instead of waiting for it to settle on its own.

Getting here from Jenks

Take the Creek Turnpike east across the river to the Memorial Drive exit, then head north on Memorial to 21st Street. Our office is on Memorial just south of the intersection.

How we can help

Most patients come to Halsey Chiropractic for back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, stiff joints or a sports injury. Dr. Kyle Harders treats these with hands-on chiropractic adjustments, using a plan he builds after examining you. When a bulging or herniated disc is the problem, non-surgical decompression may be part of that plan.

We care for every generation, and gentle care for children and expecting mothers uses techniques suited to the patient rather than a scaled-down adult adjustment.

Disc pain and sciatica

Pain that shoots down a leg, or numbness in a hand or foot, often points to a disc pressing on a nerve. Dr. Harders checks for that during your exam. If a herniated or bulging disc is involved, computerized decompression gently takes pressure off the disc over a series of sessions. It is not right for everyone, so a consultation always comes first, and he will explain the reasons if it is not a fit for you.

A small office where you are known

Halsey Chiropractic is a neighborhood practice, not a high-volume clinic. You see the same chiropractor every visit, and he remembers what has helped and what has not. Patients who started with Dr. Halsey years ago still come in under Dr. Harders, and reviews often mention how he adapts treatment when something changes.

After a car accident

If you were hurt in a wreck, get examined early. Pain and stiffness from whiplash often take a day or two to appear, and an exam soon after the crash documents the injury. We accept auto insurance and third-party liability claims, so bring your claim number and adjuster’s details. Read more about our auto injury chiropractic care.

What your first visit involves

Your first appointment is a conversation and an exam. Dr. Harders asks what hurts, when it started and what your days demand of your body, then checks your posture, range of motion and how your spine is moving. You get the findings in plain language, then a plan with a rough number of visits. If chiropractic is not the right answer for your problem, he will say so.

Hours and payment

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 6pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 8am to 1pm. We accept auto insurance, third-party payers and liability claims, CareCredit, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, cash and check.
